OYSTERFLEX STRAP
Strong and durable resistance
The new Oysterflex bracelet for the Sky-Dweller, developed by Rolex and patented by Rolex, offers a sportier alternative to metal bracelets. The bracelet is attached to the case and the Oysterclasp by a metal insert inside a flexible folding clasp made of a titanium and nickel alloy.

The metal blade is cast in one piece from a high-performance black elastomer, which is resistant to environmental influences, extremely durable and extremely safe for the wearer. For added comfort, the Oysterflex bracelet is equipped with a patented longitudinal cushioning system, which stabilises the watch on the wrist and fits securely onto the 18 ct yellow gold Oysterclasp. The bracelet is also equipped with the Rolex Glidelock sliding adjustment system, designed by the brand and patented. This innovative toothed adjustment mechanism, integrated under the clasp, allows the bracelet length to be adjusted by 15 mm in increments of approximately 2.5 mm without the need for tools.

FRESH GREEN WATCH DIAL
Outstanding features
Inverted red triangles on the dial point to the reference time – home or work time – on the off-center 24-hour dial. At a glance, this 24-hour display clearly distinguishes daytime hours from nighttime hours in other time zones.

A bold red rectangle in one of the 12 windows around the dial shows the current month, a distinctive feature of the Saros annual calendar. This ingenious mechanism simplifies life for the wearer, who no longer has to worry about adjusting the date at the end of months with 30 days. The annual calendar shows the correct date all year long. It only needs to be adjusted once a year – on March 1 (since February has only 28 or 29 days). The date is linked to local time and changes automatically according to the traveler’s local time zone.

Rolex Signature Mark
The Rolex fluting is a mark of distinction. Originally, the fluting on the Oyster bezel was designed to make it easier to fit the bezel onto the case, ensuring the watch’s absolute waterproofness.

The design is similar to the notch on the caseback, which is screwed down to the case for waterproofness thanks to a special Rolex tool. Over time, the notch design has become a highly aesthetic detail, worthy of being a prominent part of the Rolex style. Today, the notch is always made of gold and has become a signature of the brand. The Sky-Dweller is equipped with an interaction mechanism between the rotating bezel, the winding crown and the movement: the Ring Command system, which allows the user to select each of the watch’s functions and set them easily, quickly and securely.
